T-Mobile Prepaid: best for 5G and data
T-Mobile’s 5G network is strong across Glendale, Burbank and the Valley. If you stream, game or use lots of navigation, T-Mobile Prepaid’s unlimited plans are a great fit.
Verizon Prepaid: best for coverage
Verizon’s network is known for reliability, including in hillside areas like La Crescenta and Sunland-Tujunga. Auto Pay and loyalty discounts can bring the price down over time.
H2O Wireless: best budget option
H2O runs on AT&T’s network and has some of the lowest entry prices. Many plans include international calling credit—useful if you call family abroad occasionally.
Ultra Mobile: best for international calling
If you call or text overseas every week, Ultra Mobile’s included international features can save a lot compared to add-ons from other carriers.
How to choose
- Think about where you spend most of your time—home, work, commute—and which network is strongest there.
- Estimate your data use (Settings › Cellular on iPhone shows it).
- Decide if international calling matters.
- Check that your phone is unlocked and compatible.
When you’re ready, we’ll activate your new line and transfer your number in about 15–30 minutes, and you can pay your bill in store every month.
