Lithium-ion batteries are consumable parts. After a few hundred charge cycles they hold less charge and can’t deliver peak power, which is why older phones slow down, drain quickly or restart unexpectedly. Replacing the battery is one of the most cost-effective repairs you can make.

A swollen battery can lift the display or crack the back glass, and it shouldn’t be charged or punctured. If you notice a gap around your screen, stop charging the phone and bring it to us. We’ll safely remove the battery and recommend whether the screen or back glass also needs attention.
