Your phone has several microphones (bottom, front and rear) and two speakers—the earpiece for calls and the loudspeaker for speakerphone and media. Dust, pocket lint, moisture and drops can all affect them. We start by cleaning the grilles and testing each mic and speaker individually, so you only pay for what’s actually needed.
If a part has failed, we replace the microphone, earpiece speaker or loudspeaker module. On many iPhones the main microphone is attached to the charging port assembly, so we’ll explain if both are being replaced together.
